About

Hi, I'm Erin!
I'm a runner, mom, and postpartum run coach.

I started The Running Doula about a year postpartum, after having my second child. I was trying to return to running, again, and I just couldn’t catch a break. Even having 10 years experience working with prenatal and postpartum fitness clients and extensive relevant education, I was getting injured, frustrated, and fed up.

So I scoured the internet to find some of the best resources out there, invested in physical therapy/coaching, and did a lot of brainstorming to figure out what worked well for me and my family.

I created The Running Doula to share these resources, my lessons learned, and build a community among the people who called themselves a “runner” before they ever held the title “mom” or “parent”.

My Core Beliefs

Exercise is Fun

Or at least it should be . . . most of the time!

Community is Essential

Having a supportive community is instrumental in achieving your goals.

Pregnancy Has Lasting Impacts

Having a baby has physical and mental impacts on our bodies that last beyond pregnancy.

Time is Valuable

We are all busy people, so we need solutions that don’t require a lot of time.
